for members (and their guests)
Hand Knitting Design from Japan.The lecture will begin at 7 pm
Arrive at 6:15 to meet Gayle and have a cookie.

Gayle specializes
in helping Western audiences decipher and understand Japanese knitting
patterns and charts. Participants in the workshops must be
comfortable reading charts. The cost is $65/workshop. Make
checks payable to Knit at Night Guild and mail to Phyllis Tucker, 2919
Ferndale Street, Houston, TX 77098. The envelope must be
postmarked AFTER August 12. Please include your email address,
telephone number and name to be on your nametag in readable form.
Phyllis will email notifications about the workshops on August 18th
when she returns from vacation.

The guild has been in contact with the publisher for The Yarn Harlot.
They have promised to get back to us by early Aug. with her schedule.
We advised them that our guild would like to participate in hosting her
visit to Houston
and enlisting her to speak one evening for our
group. No dates have
been mentioned, but watch constant contact for updates.
